2014 Porsche 911 GT2 is going to debut at 2014 Geneva Auto Show

The new 2014 Porsche 911 GT2 is going to debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, next year. This new Porsche will have a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six engine. This engine will produce up to 552 hp (406 kW). The car gets a dual-clutch automatic transmission and should be able to reach from 0 to 100 km/h or ~0-60 mph in about 3 seconds. Top speed will be more than 200 mph (320+ km/h).
Porsche 911 series gets more and more new cars released. At first, the makers introduced the base Porsche Carrera model. Later, the sporty GT3 model made its debut. Not so long ago, the new “Turbo” model was introduced. Now, the new GT2 making its steps into these series. And the new GT3 RS should be joining this group pretty soon as well.
The new GT2 model features no more an all-wheel drive system. Now, the new model comes with a rear-wheel drive system.
The 997 series Porsche 911 GT2 RS has managed to finish one Nurburgring lap in 7 minutes and 24 seconds. This time is 4 seconds better than the Porsche Carrera GT time is. The Porsche 911 GT2 RS currently is the fastest model from these series. The new 2015 Porsche 911 GT2 RS is going to debut in 2015, and it will be packed with an engine which produces up to 620 hp (456 kW). This new model is definitely going to be even faster than the previous models.
Currently, that’s all available news about this new upcoming model. Nothing is known about the price yet, but should be either leaked or officially announced until the end of this year.
