The Ferrari F40 is powered by a 2.9-liter (2936 cc) twin-turbocharged Tipo F120A V8 engine. This engine can produce up to 478 bhp (351 kW) at 7000 rpm and up to 425 lbs-ft (576 Nm) of torque at 4500 rpm.
The Ferrari 599 GTO comes with a way bigger engine than the Ferrari F40. The car has a 6.0-liter (5999 cc) DOHC 48-valve V12 engine. Its engine can produce up to 661 bhp (486 kW) at 8250 rpm and up to 457 lbs-ft (620 Nm) of torque at 6500 rpm.

A standing quarter mile can be driven in only 11 seconds. Its top speed is quite impressive as well. The car can reach a top speed of 208 mph (~334.7 km/h).
The Ferrari F40 comes with a 5-speed manual transmission, while the Ferrari 599 GTO features a 6-speed automated manual transmission. Each car features a rear-wheel-drive system.
