The new 2015 BMW X4 is one of those cars that I am waiting for. Even knowing that here you can see just a concept model, and the real car going to look little different than this concept car looks — We’ve seen the official images of the real model, and it looks great.
When you look at the new X4, you probably think about the X6, aren’t you? The 2015 BMW X4 looks like a smaller X6 car. Still looks the same if not even better than X6, but is smaller and also cheaper. Maybe you’ve always wanted to own a car like BMW X6, but it was too big or too expensive for you? With the new X4, this problem should go away. If the problem was about the price, well, the new X4 won’t be cheap, but not that expensive as the X6 is. The 2015 BMW X4 pricing should start from around 45,000 USD ($) in the U.S.
Engines
The 2015 BMW X4 will be powered by a 2.0-liter (xDrive 28i) four-cylinder engine which produces up to 240 hp (176 kW) and torque of 258 lbs-ft (350 Nm). Also, there will be a more powerful version (xDrive 35i) with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine which produces up to 300 hp (220 kW) at 5800 rpm and torque of 300 lbs-ft (407 Nm) at 1300 rpm.
Acceleration & Top Speed
The xDrive 28i should be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in about 6.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 144 mph (~232 km/h). While the xDrive 35i should be able to do the same acceleration in about 5.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 153 mph (~246 km/h).
