This car is a rare car as mentioned in the Chevy Performance Magazine article (2007). F-Body Chronicles where it actually represents 2nd Generation.
The car was restored as a Resto-Mod status as the engine has been replaced with a new GMPP 454 crate Motor with just over 5,000 miles on it.
The Transmission is a turbo 400 Automatic that is believed to be period correct, it has been rebuilt with performance shift kit from TCI to handle up to 750 HP.
The torque converter is from B&M Hole Shot 3,000 RPM stall speed.
The Transmission is cooled by B&M 29,000 BTU cooler.
The 12 Bolt posi-traction rear end finishes the driveline, and is thought to be period correct also, freshly replaced carrier bearings, axle bearings, ring/pinion gears and seals.
The car has new brakes and new BFG T/A Radials.
The interior seats are 1971 style (more comfortable.)
