2nd gen classic 1971 Chevrolet Camaro project car For Sale.

1971 base model 307 PS/PB/AC originally. Both front floorpans replaced, passenger rear seat pan replaced, trunk pan is solid, cowl replaced and all spaces plated with rivets (same with firewall blower box holes), lower quarter skins replaced, rear edge of package tray/trunk hinge cups need replaced , but have factory package tray/cups to go with. Original side glass still in doors, new windshield and back glass. Have all the outer window trim, headlight trim, have factory taillights, marker lights, etc, all in good shape. Bumpers are in good shape, no dents or cracks but def not perfect, I was planning on powedercoating all the trim black anyway. New carpet and headliner still in the boxes. Have all the newer-style interior trim to convert over to board-style headliner. Have factory lower door pieces, , pillar trim, sail panels, console with good lid, and factory dash that still has a little curling at the front, but not bad. All the factory interior stuff has been cleaned, prepped and painted with SEM Landau Black (that’s all the stuff wrapped up on bubble wrap pm the shelves). Have new door panels. Nice race-y bucket seats w/ 5-point harnesses. Still have factory rear seatbelts. Factory rear seat is in good shape, but it blue, so will need dyed or recovered. All new white face gauges. Tilt column out of a 73 Trans-Am, as well as the factory column. Black sunvisors that look like new. Black Grant wheel. No ducting in the dash. Interior has been cleaned, sealed and lined with sound deadener, including roof. Had the car in a tip-over jig and cleaned, wire-wheeled and coated the undercarriage. Rear frame rails over the axle were C-plated with 3/16” steel. Brand-new FI tank with new sending unit and Corvette pump with return mounted on the frame rail. 4th-Gen TA rear brakes. Brand-new 2” drop springs and Summit frame connectors. New brake lines and fuel lines run to firewall. New parking brake cables run. TA rear sway bar brackets and bar and links added to the rear. McGaughey 2” drop spindles in the front, and have UMR tubular uppers and QA1 adjustable coil-overs (slightly used) to go in it. All new Energy Suspension poly bushings everywhere. 2” steel cowl hood. Original core support in good shape, but does need some work on the bottom edge. Drivers inner fender is great, passenger has battery tray rusted off, but I was gonna move the battery to the trunk anyway so I didn’t worry about it. Mishimoto triple-pass aluminum radiator, Aerostar dual-electric fan setup with Painless controller harness. OEM under-hood harness (bought used) in good shape. 6.0 LS out a Silverado HD w/ 130k. Brian Tooley Racing cam, LS3 intake from an 04 Vette, oil pan, I think from Summit, made for LS in a second-Gen, accessory drive from a fourth-Gen Camaro complete except AC (wasn’t planning on running AC unless I went with Vintage Air). TA front swaybar (I forget the measurement, but it’s the heaviest one produced), Front calipers from Fourth-Gen Camaro SS with CustomWorks big-brake adapter brackets, new drilled/slotted rotors and pads and new lines. T56 trans out of 04 GTO, rebuilt with Tick Stage 2 kit with about 500 miles on it, and I believe a Monster triple-disc clutch. I’m sure there’s other stuff I have for it that I’m just not thinking of right now. 18” US Mags wheels (centers were gray but were primed and painted black), 8” front and 9” rear, tires are 7 years old but have literally just rolled around the shop.

This car is a project. I was building it as a cruiser, not a show car. It still needs work, but pretty much everything you’d need to finish it is there. I really wasn’t planning on selling, but I have to be honest with myself that I don’t know when I’ll ever have the time to finish it.

Clear title in my name.

I am NOT interested in parting it out.

Asking $18,000 OBO for everything. I’m willing to negotiate to a point, but I’m not giving the car away. Make me a fair offer and we can go from there. No, I’m not interested in trading for your four-wheeler or motorcycle or shitbox Honda. I’m looking for $100 dollar bills, but I might consider another muscle car. If you don’t like the asking price, that’s certainly your right, but I can promise you that sending me a message on how you know better than anybody else on the planet because you’re an expert and the car is only worth $3,000 will only succeed in getting you made fun of. So just save us both the trouble.
