This rare, first generation 1967 Camaro RS/SS Convertible’s most intriguing feature is its rust free and pristine body. The sheet metal used on the body panels on the first generation Camaros was very thin and finding examples with no major rust issues is extremely rare.

This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Convertible is powered by a period correct but non-original Chevrolet small block 350 CID V8 engine(This is a rare MU suffix code 67 Camaro 350ci 295hp complete engine). It is backed by the original 2 speed transmission (Powerglide) and 12 bolt rear axle. The whole powertrain is in proper operating condition. The engine doesn’t smoke or have any abnormal engine noises. The suspension and steering systems are in good condition. The body, front subframe and floorboards are in excellent condition with no rust issues and with all the factory seams and pinch welds still visible (see photos). The exterior sheet metal body panels are in good condition with all the factory seams and pinch welds visible (see photos). Sighting down the sides of the vehicle reveals no door dings or ripples on the body panels from body work. The body is pristine. The body paint is in excellent condition with no signs of paint runs, fish eyes. The convertible top is in proper working condition and the fabric and rear window are in “like new” condition. The interior of the vehicle is in excellent overall condition. The dashboard and instrument cluster are in like new. The seat upholstery is in perfect shape with no signs of wear or other issues. Approximately 5,000 miles driven since a full turn key restoration was done to exact original condition.
