Performance
As with most cars of this size, the CX-9 does have some limits. Topping out at 133mph and carrying a 0-60 time of 7.2secs may not stand out as the specs of a car in the price range. After all, that’s over double the 0-60 time of the Camaro ZL1. In reality, though, the 2.5 litre 4-cylinder engine is more than powerful enough to provide an enjoyable ride. Better still, the oomph can come to your rescue in potentially dangerous situations.
However, handling is where this SUV outperforms most of its rivals. The smooth handling is supported by a great suspension that can handle bumps and holes with optimum ease. When coupled with the sound reducing tech features, everything about this ride screams comfort and luxury. For most drivers in the crossover market, this is one of the time items on the agenda.
