Car of the day – Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG & BMW X6 showcase in white 1920×1080 HD
The Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 engine. The engine produces up to 536 hp (394 kW) at 5500 rpm and torque of 590 lbs-ft (800 Nm) at 2000-4500 rpm. This power is from the standard model’s engine. You can add AMG Performance Package in this car, and its power can increase to 564 hp (414.8 kW) and 664 lbs-ft (900 Nm) of torque.
Acceleration of the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG is kind of limited because of traction. This car features a rear-wheel drive system, and it loses a lot of traction while accelerating fast from dead stop. It can do 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in little over 4 seconds. If this car would have an all-wheel drive system, maybe it could do this quicker, because the car is really a powerful beast. Top speed is limited to 155 mph (250 km/h) for a standard model, and it can be increased to 186 mph (299 km/h) with an AMG Performance Package.
The BMW X6 has been introduced a few times before, so we don’t need to write about its engine specifications, because it was written before, and you can check those specifications out there.
The standard Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG is faster than the BMW X6. Both can reach the same top speed, but acceleration is better of the Mercedes. The BMW X6 features an all-wheel drive system, but even that can’t help in a drag race against the Mercedes. The Mercedes is just a lighter and more powerful car too. After all, both cars are not in the same league anyways, so we don’t need to compare both cars too much.
