Owning the keys to your first car can be elusive. Your finances might not be up to a point when you would be able to pay for a sedan or a truck for several years. Maybe your current employment is not as stable as you would like it to be. There are plenty of other obstacles that can keep you from getting your own car. But if you look hard enough, you will find opportunities that will enable you to become a car owner.
Midway Nissan, an Ontario car dealership that exclusively provides the market with Nissan models, recently launched one such opportunity. When Midway began in 1965, it was initially a small gas station and today, it has become the Durham region’s prime source of Nissan cars. The dealership has 14 state-of-the-art showrooms that exhibit the car manufacturer’s topnotch models; it also houses the parts and service centre, a collision center, and a finance department. Recognizing the inherent difficulty in buying that first car, Midway introduced its First Time Buyer Program.
The program caters to buyers who have no prior car finance or lease experience, and those who have been holding down a full-time job, for at least three months. Other eligibility factors include being able to present a proof of income and having no prior history of derogatory credit. According to Midway, their minimum down payment for financing is set at $500. Perhaps the only drawback to the First Time Buyers Program is that you can only choose from a line of eligible Nissan models, which include the Nissan Altima Coupe, Versa Sedan, Altima Sedan, Juke, Rogue, Sentra, and Versa Note.
If you prefer getting the Pathfinder, Frontier, or Maxima, you could consider going for pre-owned Nissan cars. Choosing a secondhand car with little miles for a fair price is another good way of finally owning your first vehicle. Midway’s pre-owned Nissan line ranges from the 2012 Nissan Altima Sedan 2.5S to the 2013 Nissan Titan SL. So you will have a pretty good selection of previously used vehicles.
But if you really want to get behind newer models like the 2014 Nissan Versa Note 1.6 SL or the 2014 Nissan Versa 1.6 SV, the First Time Buyer would be a good way to explore the possibility of finally getting the keys to your first car.
There are always opportunities that will help you meet your goals. When it comes to owning your first car, Midway’s program may just be the very solution you need. So check out the Ontario-based Nissan dealership. And begin the journey to getting your first vehicle today.
